Our Vision

“Experience the transforming love of God in the Eucharist in order to live the fullness of life with Mary Help of Christians.”

Experience the transforming love of God in the Eucharist in order to live the fullness of life with Mary Help of Christians. This is the inspiring vision that guides the parishioners of St. Mary Help of Christians Parish in Pueblo, Colorado. Through daily adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the faithful are invited into a deep, personal encounter with Jesus Christ, who is truly present in the Eucharist. In the stillness and silence before the Blessed Sacrament, hearts are opened to receive the abundant graces that flow from the Eucharistic Lord. During Sunday Mass, the parts of the liturgy are explained step-by-step, allowing the beauty and meaning behind each word, gesture, and action to be unveiled. The parish also prays the Holy Rosary 30 minutes before each daily and Sunday Mass, inviting the intercession and guidance of the Blessed Mother. By experiencing the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and following the example of Mary’s faithful discipleship, the parishioners of St. Mary Help of Christians are empowered to live the fullness of life God desires for each of His beloved children.

The parish has a deep devotion to Mary Help of Christians, who stands ready to aid all her children who call upon her. Modeled after the shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Turin, Italy, a beautiful statue of Mary was erected on the parish grounds, which we call “Holy Mary Prayer Garden”. This sacred space serves as a place of pilgrimage, where the Mother of God listens to the needs of her children and points them always to her Son.

St. Mary Help of Christians offers many opportunities for spiritual growth and service. Studies on the Liturgy, Children’s Religious Education, outreach ministries, and volunteer opportunities allow parishioners to deepen their faith and share it with others. Guided and nourished by the Eucharist and aided by Mary’s motherly care, the parish is a place of belonging, nurturing souls and sending them forth to become the saints God calls them to be. With Christ as their center and Mary as their model, the parishioners experience the fullness of life God desires.
